docu:mentalKLİNİK published 18 projects, 72 pages between May, 2002 and September, 2003 in TRENDSETTER magazine. Trendsetter magazine is a Istanbul based magazine on fashion, beauty, design and lifestyles, which started as a free magazine in 2002.
The docu:mentalKLİNİK issues’ page format inside the magazine was such that the readers could cut the pages from the marked margins to start collecting the issues. There was also a lower format band on all 4 pages which was used as a colophon with docu:mentalKLİNİK’s web page, who the collaborators are, and if needed the definition of the issue’s concept.
docu:mentalKLİNİK had a teaser in the first issue of Trendsetter magazine; the teaser was a bag of genetically modified seeds inserted in the magazine. The genetically modified seeds were referancing :mentalKLİNİK’s – of which docu:mentalKLİNİK is a sub-heading - [copy] project which was taking place around the same time. (www.mentalklinik.com)
