Condescension
The first issue of docu:mentalKLİNİK had its manifesto on the first page followed by three pages on the issue’s concept ‘tenezzul’ (condescension). There were two quotations, followed by a brief text by Birhan Keskin reminding the readers of this concept which comes to Turkish from an Arabic root but which is contemporarily not in frequent use. The pink color used in the graphic design of the pages was meant to symbolize the romanticism of this forgotten concept which is a part of our forgotten culture.
