The sixth issue by docu:mentalKLİNİK ‘simya’ (alchemy) was about the passion of being different and unique, about how alchemy is used to transform what at first sight seems as an invaluable object to a valuable and unique one. There was a recipe from Ancient Egypt - a fantastical one with a young virgin male’s pee, etc. - about how emerald is made by using the art of alchemy. The issue highlighted the relaitivity of values. There was also a poetical text by Birhan Keskin: ‘if you take the dust of a very old, ancient word and release it blowing into the world, the world expands and enrichens with that word’, which reminded the readers that ‘alchemy’ can also be used to enrich one’s life by re-evaluating one’s own values.
