to Collect
After announcing its own collapse and for its first anniversary, docu:mentalKLİNİK established a conceptual ‘kingdom’ using a logo ornamented with bugs. It was a kingdom of docu:mentalKLİNİK where Yasemin Baydar and Birol Demir (the co-founders of docu:mentalKLİNİK) were the queen and the king. The following issues were all centred on the theme of ‘kingdom’. The first issue of this kingdom was ‘biriktirmek’ (to collect), emphasizing and reminding the readers that the docu:mentalKLİNİK issues were collectable. ‘To collect’ was an insert in the magazine with photographs of Yasemin and Birol from the back, hidden on the black page.
